Our team

Martin Muriuki - Principal Accountant
Martin started his career as an Audit Clerk with BOO Accountants in Kenya before coming to Australia to complete his Degree in Accounting at Edith Cowan University.
After completing his degree, Martin worked as a commercial accountant for 10 years, with various organisations. Martin then embarked on his Career in taxation and business advisory where he has been for the last 17 years, working across a range of firms and learning a great deal.
Martin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in taxation, business planning, creation, development, as well as consultancy in his field.
Martin enjoys spending time with his wife and their 2 lovely daughters. Also, during his spare time, he enjoys going for long walks or watching his favourite sports which are AFL and Cricket.
Nick Schwehr - Senior Accountant
Nick is a senior accountant with Elgon Accounting, Nick started his career at Elgon Accounting back in 2017.
Completing his studies at UWA and graduating with distinction, Nick has gone on to specialise in small business, capital gains and cryptocurrency.
Nick is a member of CPA Australia, he has always been passionate about accounting since childhood. He also enjoys spending time with his family and everything Formula 1.
Cayla Hill - Junior Accountant
Cayla is a junior accountant with Elgon Accounting, she started working with us at the beginning of 2022.
Recently having completed high school at Darling Range Sports College. Cayla is now carrying out further education, studying accounting & bookkeeping at Tafe.
Cayla enjoys creative endeavours, spending time with her close friends and family, and watching new tv shows.
